How did you come to know about Annual Giving?
I came to know about the Annual Giving campaign from the NUS AlumNUS magazine. I was also invited to attend the Annual Giving Appreciation night and heard some touching stories of bursary recipients who benefit from the campaign.
Why do you give?
I appreciate the opportunity NUS has provided me. To study in NUS has helped me to realise my potential and I hope I could help others to do likewise.
Describe your NUS experience.
It was challenging for me to study in NUS. But my lecturers were knowledgeable and helpful. I made some wonderful friends there.
Did the NUS education help you in your career?
Yes. I am working as a teacher as I am passionate about life-long learning.
What are you passionate about?
I teach young students sound values and cultivate in them the love for learning for life.
Do you give to other causes or contribute to society in other ways?
Yes, I contribute to church and volunteer organisations such as CDAC. I feel blessed in many ways. So I am happy that I can contribute back to society.
